Formation of panel for filling up the post of Assistant Loco Pilot in Pay Matrix Level- 2 against 50 % departmental quota-Lateral induction from maintenance staff of Electrical/Diesel Loco Sheds.
It is proposed to form a panel to fill up 293 posts of ALP(Diesel/Electric) in Electrical(OP) Department in paymatrix level -2 against 50 % departmental quota through Lateral induction from maintenance staff of Electrical/Diesel Loco Sheds of Bilaspur Division/SECR.The details of are as under:

ELIGIBILITY AND SERVICE CONDITIONS OF STAFF :
- Application are invited from amongst volunteering Diesel/Electrical staff, i.e. Technicians Gr.III (Fitter) of DLS/ELS in level -2 of Electrical/Diesel Loco Sheds of Bilaspur Division, with three years‟ service as Technician Gr.III (Fitter), are course completed Act Apprentices in Electrical /Mechanical/Electronics Engineering trades OR Matriculates with I.T.I as an additional preferable qualification in these trades and are within the upper age limit of 35 years (40 years in the case of SC/ST employees).
2. Shortfall, if any, will be made good from amongst (i) Technician Gr.-III staff with less than three years‟ service but with a total service of three years, and (ii) Group „D staff from Diesel/Electric Loco Sheds with three years‟ service fulfilling the conditions of qualifications and age will also be considered..
3.Those Technicians Gr.III and Group „D‟ staff who are placed in the higher Grade Pay under the MACP Scheme but are holding posts in substantive Grade Pay/Level – 2 and below are also eligible to apply..
(A) Matriculation pass or its equivalent or 10th Class or 10th Standard pass under 10+2 system plus I.T.I. qualification or Act Apprenticeship pass under Apprentice Act,1981 in any of the following relevant trades: (i) Filter (ii) Electrician (iii) Instrument Mechanic (iv) Mill Wright/Maintenance Mechanic (v) Mechanic (Radio & TV) (vi) Electronics Mechanic (vii) Mechanic (Motor Vehicle) (viii) Wireman (ix) Tractor Mechanic (x) Armature & Coil Winder (xi) Mechanic (Diesel) (xii) Heat Engine (xiii) Turner (xiv) Machinist (xv) Refrigeration & AC Mechanic.
OR
(B) Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Automobile Engineering in lieu of ITI.
OR
(C) ITI/Diploma with combination of the above streams of trades of Engineering.
The applicant should not be above 35 years of age (40 years in the case of those belonging to SC/ST community).
PROCEDURE FOR WRITTEN EXAMINATION: (CBT Mode)
The question paper will be 100% objective Type with multiple choice.
There shall be negative marking for incorrect Answers.
10 questions (optional) will be on Rajbhasa
There will be 110 questions, 10 questions (optional) will be on Rajbhasha. All objective type questions should carry equal marks.
The duration of examination under objective type multiple choice will be 2 Hours.
Electronics gadget are not permissible in examination hall

The willing and eligible volunteers has to submit their applications in prescribed proforma to their controlling supervisors on or before 09-02-2024 who will forward the applications in one bunch to the controlling officers on or before 10-02-2024.The controlling officer has to forward all the applications in one bunch to this office together with DAR/SPE/Vig clearance on or before 11-02-2024 Applications received after the last date will summarily be rejected without assigning any reason.
